Sexual Abuse Treatment Program

The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program is a state wide comprehensive, community-based, family-centered treatment system that provides individual, family and group counseling, counseling to non-offending caregivers and family members and education to sexually abused children and families who live in Manatee County. The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program operates on the premise that child sexual abuse is a multifaceted problem requiring a multidisciplinary response. The program staff is Licensed Mental Health Counselors that are highly experienced with sexual abuse and trauma treatment modalities. Our Clinical Director is a Certified Member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
